JORDAN ILLINGWORTH

Director

Jordan started his career as an Avionics Engineer in the British Army. During his military career Jordan worked on a number of notable air frames such as; the AH64 Apache; Lynx MK9A and the HERMES 450 surveillance drone. In addition to his technical achievements Jordan was consistently singled out for his natural leadership and management qualities, earning several commendations.

After leaving the Military Jordan set out on a career within the rail industry cutting his teeth in maintenance, before progressing into engineering and eventually moving into the Projects department, where he specialised in type testing and homologation programmes. Jordan has worked both for and alongside many notable names within the rolling stock industry such as; Hitachi, GWR, Bombardier, SNC Lavalin and DBST. 
Having played a pivotal role in the delivery of some of the UK's most high profile projects Jordan made the decision to found RSTS, having identified a gap in the market for a small customer focused technical services provider. One who could offer a more custom made service for each individual job. Something that can be easily lost when dealing with 'big business' companies.
